Philippi Towers
Art with a specifically designed resonance.
Art that functions as a resonance tool, a silent instrument bringing local subtle energies into a state of coherence. It is the shape-caused wave that determines the energetic quality of the field it creates. This field can be expanded when used in conjunction with the Earth's telluric currents.
Towers that transform subtle energy into a higher state of consciousness. Designed by Karen Philippi and created in three editions (V-Turm, GardenTurm, and ObservaTurm), these sculptural towers have begun to gather around the globe. The BrightSpot Project maps each one.
V-Turm
The compact tower, the most approachable form in the series. Print it at home, assemble the pieces, and raise a quiet presence in your space. Every V-Turm registered on the map becomes a yellow BrightSpot: the smallest, most numerous points of light in the constellation.
My V-Turm creates a beneficial balancing energy by working with the subtle energy emanating from the ground.
The most beautiful aspect of the V-Turm, for me, is that you don't have to subscribe to any particular belief system to work. It operates as long as it is standing upright, with a bit of space all around. It does not even need to be seen. It is a work of art that need not be seen to affect our bodies.
A subtle energy wave encounters the V-Turm. The V-Turm alters and amplifies the wave. This is known as the shape-caused wave. The V-Turm can be used to tune energy into a magnetic wave. It works with the higher harmonics of the electromagnetic spectrum.
It does this through resonance. The function follows the form. Resonance is the most powerful creative force. It determines everything.
My most finely honed skill is my intuition. The shape for this tower kept coming to mind. I teamed up with a mechanical engineer to bring it to life. Since 2025, I have worked with her through various iterations to enhance the quality of the energy I could get from this form.
I developed this shape with precision to create a field of the best healing energy possible.

GardenTurm
Meet the 11′ sculpture with a wide variety of uses. The GardenTurm creates a much larger field than the V-Turm.
Over the course of a couple of weeks, I harmonized 3 apartments in various neighborhoods in Athens. During this process, I became aware that in all 3 apartments, the water was already harmonized. I have a theory that the water from Marathon Reservoir in Greece creates power spots in each home that receives it.
Water is a fantastic carrier of subtle energy. If I put my GardenTurm near a municipal water supply, the pipes will carry that vibrational energy into each house. The pipes then become the distribution system of this healing energy. This enables other parts of the world to enjoy the phenomenon that much of Athens enjoys.
The GardenTurm can harmonize reservoirs and other bodies of water, as well as landmasses. It can be installed indoors or outdoors with equal effectiveness. The GardenTurm brings energetic chaos into order.
The GardenTurm is 11′ high and 43″ at its widest points. GardenTurm version 1 has a sphere of influence diameter ranging from approximately 2000 to 3200 feet.
ObservaTurm
The largest of the three, a gathering place and observatory at human scale. ObservaTurms register on the map as orange BrightSpots.
I have designed a tower that puts out a beautiful, magnetic, subtle energy. This is the energy of the Asclepieion Temples, the hospitals in ancient Greece. My ObservaTurm creates and amplifies this energy. Designed to be a beneficial public work of art, it also serves as an observation deck. By being in the observatory, the observer becomes part of the energetic equation that is emitted. It is a consciousness rocket that remains still and silent. It assists you with resonating with a higher state of consciousness. This expands your perception.
Working with the subtle energy sciences, including the Earth's energies, this tower sits at the intersection of science and art.
The ObservaTurm is a sculptor of the energy of the space it occupies and its sphere of influence. This elevates the resonance of the energy on the planet. Nobody needs to lose for everyone to win. The more time you spend in that energy, the better your resonance becomes. Use an ObservaTurm to bathe your city in this resonance. ObservaTurm Proposal for Kettle Point, Rhode Island
A site-specific proposal to raise an ObservaTurm at Kettle Point.
While designing the ObservaTurm, I realized I needed to visually convey the feeling of being inside it. In order for me to do this, I had to become a licensed remote pilot and learn to fly a drone. I dropped absolutely everything and took on the task. Five weeks later, after scoring an 87 on the Airman Knowledge Test, I was issued a commercial remote pilot license. I discussed with my proctor that everyone is trying to overcome the feeling of drag, and in society, this shows up as impatience. I was finally able to create this Kettle Point Proposal. A spot along the bike path where a troll sits at the edge of the bay.
It is a travesty of our time that we no longer deliberately congregate with strangers, people who often have very differing belief systems. I see the observatory attracting everyone. An ideal place to facilitate conversation between total strangers.
